Ok, I am a slacker, I was tagged on January 27 and this is my first visit back to the site since before that.

6th folder, 6th picture. This was taken on the upper deck of the Voyager of the Seas 3 years ago on our cruise to Bermuda. I have already scrapped these pictures and absolutely love looking through the book.

Will be scrapping a cruise to the Bahamas after April.

Commissioned Scrapbook

My first Commissioned Scrapbook!!

I have been wanting to do much more scrapping than I have over the past few years and was contemplating making myself available to others whom loved the look of scrapbooks but did not have the time or desire to do so themselves. Then like a bolt out of the blue, a fellow coworker asked me, knowing full well my love of crafting, if I would be willing to do two books for her. One for her son and one for her daughter for Christmas. These would be extra special books due to the fact that they took very memorable trips last year! Of course, that immediately made up my mind and of course I said "yes". Everything began to fall into place, I had an all day crop scheduled for the first Saturday in October with some very wonderful friends and it was a marvelous start to my adventure. I got 12 pages done in one day and that just sent me on a frenzy. I finished the 42 page album in 2 weeks. Yes, two weeks and I work full time.

I am posting just a few of the pages of the first book. Which is of her son's trip to China. You will notice that I was asked to use colors identifying with China, Red, Black and Yellow. I was just a little leary of such a bold statement but it did turn out with a very nice Oriental feel.
By the way, this is my very first post on my very first blog, so if it doesn't fit as well as it should or look quite as nice as it could. I promise I will learn to do much better
